Real Colorado is committed to empowering each student – athlete with the skills to reach their greatest soccer potential. Our staff recognizes that each player has a unique set of attributes and goals. Our objective as a coaching staff is to accurately evaluate the ability of each player and to place them on a team that will promote their greatest development.

At Real Colorado, we believe strongly our players are best evaluated over the course of a season versus a single training or game. To that end, it’s important players and their families recognize that each opportunity to play is a chance to improve and impress, that training and games that fall on either side of the spectrum will get minimized through a deeper look and all help us find the best place for a player to thrive.

Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Player Placement Plan

  • Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) offers a league for players who are U15 players and cannot or choose not to play for their high school during this season. For these players, Real Colorado will offer teams for the boys in the Fall and girls in the spring to help ensure these players have teams to play on.

    Tryouts for our competitive program kick off the week of May 26th, and it’s your chance to level up your game, make lifelong friends, and fall even more in love with soccer!

    This is where the passion grows, the competition rises, and the fun never stops. Players like Ethan Horvath, Mallory (Pugh) Swanson, Janine Beckie, and Ian Smith all began their competitive soccer journeys at these ages—just like you can!

    Whether you dream of playing at the highest levels or simply want to challenge yourself in a positive, team-focused environment, this is where it all begins. Let’s grow, compete, and have a blast doing it!

    Tryouts for our competitive program will take place the week of May 26th — an exciting next step for players ready to keep growing, challenging themselves, and strengthening their love for the game.

    At this stage, players continue building confidence, forming lasting friendships, and developing both on and off the field in a fun, team-driven environment.

    Excelling in this program offers the best path to future opportunities within our Academy, ECNL, and ECNL-RL teams, where players are supported in reaching their highest potential.
